Madison and her grandma, Noanie, are making star cookies
for a midnight picnic on Big Hill. A midnight picnic? Madison never
heard of such a thing!
Noanie explains that tonight is the night of The Wishing Sky -- a
shower of "shooting stars."
"Whenever you see a shooting star, you can make a wish," Noanie tells
Madison. "And think of how many wonderful wishes you can make during
a meteor shower, when the sky is full of shooting "stars."
Madison learns about meteors when she and Noanie climb Big Hill and
watch the magic happen! |
